What does reinforced power and human desire look like across time and history? What does it feel like in the body? Black Metamorphoses pierces a 2000+ year-old veil connecting directly to Ovid's Metamorphoses in both a conversation and an interrogation. Join us as we welcome artist, journalist, poet, and curator Shanta Lee back to the Fleming Museum. Lee reads selections from her newest collection of poetry, Black Metamorphoses, and discusses her current exhibtions Dark Goddess and Object-Defied.
