In this event we will develop a common understanding to differentiate between punitive justice, restorative justice, and transformative justice. The event will include hands on scenarios to differentiate between practices that are and are not aligned with restorative justice. This event is the first in a series of restorative justice events organized by the Police Out of Schools Coalition. This event is being co-hosted by Vermont Legal Aid, Outright Vermont, ACLU, Rights and Democracy, the Vermont Human Rights Commission, Youth 4 Change at the Root Center for Social Justice, and The Education Justice Coalition of Vermont and various community members!
