NOTE: As with other services, you don't have to follow the shift hours. However, if you are not, please let me know so that I can make sure the table has at least one person throughout the whole event. With Thanksgiving around the corner, we will be focusing on bringing food to people this week. This tabling service will be twofold, focusing on our local community as well as beyond. First off, we will be raising money and collecting food items for the Chittenden County Emergency Food Shelf. There will be a list of food items they accept, as well as a jar for cash donations and a computer for online donations. Secondly, we will have a computer available for online donations for Vermont2PuertoRico. Feeding Children Everywhere are the New King Church is partnering up to host a Hunger Project Food Packing Event. While unfortunately it'll be over our break, we can still help by bringing it to the attention of our fellow students and offering a place to donate online. You will be manning the table, letting people know how to get involved, accepting cash and food donations, and helping people donate online.
