Stevensville Trailhead (Google maps link here- https://maps.app.goo.gl/KUKGkYcvZaBBc1Pn6) We will be carrying lumber to the Long Trail at the intersection of the Clara Bow Trail and Long Trail. We will take the Nebraska Notch Trail to the Long Trail South until the Clara Bow junction. This is a total 1.8mile hike in one way and it gains approximately 500ft. This lumber is destined for a small trail bridge being built at the junction for a stream crossing. Carrying lumber is nice as each person can choose the weight that works well for them. GMC will bring padding to make the carry easier, most of the time it is best to carry it on your shoulder or in your arms. Once we drop the lumber off we'll turn around and go back down! If folks wanted to make two trips they are more than welcome to but we anticipate probably only one trip. If the group was interested they could hike south to Taylor Lodge for lunch.
