Be My Eyes is an app downloadable for IOS and android. It connects blind and low-vision people with sighted volunteers and company representatives for visual assistance through a live video call. A blind or a low-vision user may need help with anything from checking expiry dates, distinguishing colors, reading instructions or navigating new surroundings. It may take a couple of weeks to get your first call so this is not a high stress volunteer role where you always need to be attentive to your phone. For every one visual-impaired member, there are 17 volunteers. https://www.bemyeyes.com/
