For the background information section: Say you heard about People's Place from your service event coordinator. For the reason: choose a reason you want to volunteer there. Check yes when they ask if community service is required and say the reason is for your service hour requirement for the service fraternity you're a part of. For a start date, list the date of this event. For what day you are available, list "some Wednesdays at 4:30pm - 7:00pm” For previous volunteer experience, put down some of the events and organizations you've volunteered at with APO. For the skills and interests information section, answer honestly but put more of an emphasis on activities you can do as a group (i.e. put a 4 or 5 for activities like cleaning, organizing, cooking). They need the most help with their pantry and thrift store. However, while you're there, there could be a need for help on other projects. Remember to always at least buddy up when doing tasks. For example, if 5 people sign up, 3 people could be assigned to cooking and 2 assigned to help in the boutique. No one should be doing an activity alone! Meet at HAB by 4:10pm Leave HAB by 4:15pm (20 min drive) If you already filled out a volunteer form for a prior day, you do not need to do it again!
