The New Paltz Rotary Club is hosting a Backpack Drive to collect used backpacks in support of food insecure school children. The backpacks will be filled with food for kids on the New Paltz Schools' free meal program. They will also include a post/note card with an inspirational message from the New Paltz students who donated the backpack. We will be decorating the boxes used to collect the backpacks and place them in the SUB, the first and second floors by the elevators. We will also include a little envelope on the side of the boxes to hold the blank post/note cards for donators to write something on them for the young students before donating them. Please bring any decorating materials you have/want to use (i.e., pens, crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc.), but there will also be crayons provided.
