Join us to talk about what it means and/or feels like to think and learn differently than others around you.
Many of us as parents or as students have heard the terms; Autism, ADHD, Spectrum Disorders, and many others related to these terms.
What do these terms mean? Are they necessary? Do they do more harm than good? What can I do if I or my children are struggling through the challenges of thinking differently?
Bay State Learning Center is proud to introduce JayJay Mudridge. JayJay joined the BSLC team this year and often does speaking engagements or runs workshops on platforms such as Ausome Training, Reframing Autism, Aucademy, and/or on their own advocacy platform Not Another Autistic Advocate. They went into education in an attempt to be the educator they needed as an autistic child, but quickly found that traditional education systems were harmful to their own, and their students, autistic neurology.
Send a reflection before midnight to the group chat that will be made. What did you learn? What can you apply to your life? | |
