As the situation escalates, we are gathering to identify ways to support our members, their families in crisis and understand their needs and priorities to lead their everyday lives. Girls have been separated from their families, orphaned or have become more vulnerable to abuse and trafficking. Children have been traumatized and are in need of support. Women and children need safe spaces and adequate resources. BPW International has an Affiliate Club in Ukraine, BPW Chernihiv, and a fundraising campaign is underway to assist our members as well as women and their children seeking refuge and protection. BPW International plans to have relief supplies transported to women and their families.
