“Today, many bottles and cans end up in trash cans across New Paltz, bound for the landfill. We are trying to change that by starting a bottle/can pick-up service. You bag your cans and bottles and once a week, we pick them up, free of charge. We then recycle them at the bottle deposit and send the proceeds to 4Oceans… Please DM us your address if you’d like to participate.” -from npbottles4change’s Instagram Alana will be DMing their Instagram account prior to those dates to let them know she’ll be participating in the pick-up. Group chats will be made after chapter the week of the pick-up so everyone can coordinate with Alana prior to the pick-up day.
