join the LGBTQ community at new paltz virtually via Zoom to hear a group of student panelists share their own stories regarding coming out. Our students will discuss topics such as tips and challenges regarding talking with family and friends, choosing whether or not to come out in different settings, ways that allies can help, and resources on campus and beyond. This event will showcase the strength and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community while inspiring others. National Coming Out Day is an annual day that supports LGBTQ+ folks “coming out of the closet”. Our students are strong and this event only touches on the power of LGBTQ+ students that attend SUNY New Paltz.
