Protocols change frequently around here and so new volunteers are asked to commit to at least two 2-hour shifts each month so that they are aware of what's happening around the shelter and don't need to be re-oriented each time they come in. Here are the areas where we currently need the most help: Caregivers for our two cats at Petco in Kingston one or two mornings each week, specifically Sunday-Wednesday, between 9-11 AM (changing litter boxes, feeding the cats, socializing with them) Cleaning in the dog department, Thursday-Sunday mornings from 8:30-10:30 Deep cleaning on Mondays in the cat department, 9-12 Help with fundraising/offsite events Meet @ HAB by 9:50 Leave HAB by 10:00 (22 min drive)
