For opening ceremonies we will be fans in the stands! Many athletes come to compete without family or friends present, so we are crucial to the morale of the event. We will watch the Parade of Athletes, entertainment and the lighting of the Special Olympics Cauldron. It will be cold so remember to dress warmly. There is no official "end time" for the event and 11pm was my guess, so keep that open to some give or take. Attendees will meet at HAB Circle at 6:45pm and leave by 7:00pm. The location is called the Mid Hudson Civic Center.
