Funded in part by the "Stronger Together" grant from the Provost's office, Digital Media and Journalism, the Ottaway Program, and the Title IX Office, The Town Hall with Noor Tagouri will be a community conversation on the model of the Phil Donahue Show, meant to build trust, amplify civil discourse, and model active listening. She probes her audience-participants to ask themselves what they believe, what unanswered questions surround their beliefs, what they fear, and where they find joy. This event will explore the question: In a time of intense societal polarization and division, what does it actually mean to be free? Noor Tagouri is an award-winning journalist and speaker who specializes in engaging audiences in candid and courageous conversations.
