Join Campus Ministry for an interfaith dialogue on a topic that connects across several religious and spiritual traditions. This month's panelists will be Andrew Stone-Porter, professor at Bellarmine University, Rev. Rachel Stokes, Pastor at Immanuel Church of Christ, and Rev. Lori Kyle, minister at the First Unitarian Church.
The topic for this month's dialogue is Faith and Sex. We will be exploring how different rich and varied faith traditions view sex and the human body, as well as how these topics relate to theology and real-life faith practice. By the end of the event, participants will be able to recognize the ways in which the highlighted faith traditions view and discuss sex through a theological lens, expanding on the way which we already understand sex through a cultural lens, giving a new depth to their perspectives on this generally taboo topic.
