'Stop the Bleed': This is a standardized class which is part of a White House initiative following a school shooting. The American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma developed the Hartford Consensus utilizing the military's Combat Casualty Care Course. The class will cover the use of tourniquets, wound packing and other techniques to prevent the number one preventable cause of death from trauma.
