Description It takes a lot more than luck to have extraordinary parks, show your Olmsted Park Pride and volunteer to help us to restore this popular destination! We typically focus on removing invasive plants or planting in our urban park woodlands using hand tools. Occasionally we will do a bit of weeding in landscaped areas, mulching, planting, painting or other projects. Olmsted Parks Conservancy provides gloves, tools, refreshments and guidance. Volunteers just need to dress for the weather and working outdoors, long pants with socks and old tennis shoes or boots are recommended, no shorts or sandals please.
