Diversity Potluck |
| Date: Oct 21, 2017 at 1:30pm to 3:30pm | |
Delta Theta has had a diversity potluck for at least the past two semesters, and we would like to continue that tradition! Please bring a dish (appetizers, dinner, or dessert), and we can all have a early APO thanksgiving. In the name of diversity, I encourage you to bring a dish that is culturally unique, whether it is from your culture/heritage, a recipe that runs in your family, you enjoy making it, or it is from a culture that interests you. Then (if you like) you can explain why it is special to you.
**When you sign up, please indicate if you plan to bring a dish, if it is an appetizer, dinner, or dessert, and if it requires a microwave to heat up.** Please bring whatever else is needed to transport your dish, serve it, and store it afterward (cooler, ice, ladel, hot plates, tupperware, etc.). Also remember to bring a post-it so you can post allergy labels on your dishes. It would also be helpful to comment if you have allergies (especially peanut allergies). We don't want anyone to die.
You certainly are not required to bring a dish, but you are HIGHLY encouraged. Whether or not we have enough food for everyone depends on collective participation.
Free parking is available in the small lot next to Davidson Hall and the Raunch Planetarium. It seems hard to get to because the North Information Center is in the way, but it is there. You would go from Cardinal Blvd to S. 1st St (turn left) and then go straight at the fork, and you can get to that lot. That lot is close to the Humanities Building.
Another option for free parking is the lot next to the Ville Grill off of S 3rd St. and West Brandeis Ave. The lot is shared with a PNC Bank and a strip mall that has Insomnia Cookies.
Your 3rd option for parking is the lot next to the Speed Art Musuem, though it costs $7.00.

This event will only be interchapter if visiting brothers come. | |
