American Foundation for Suicide Prevention hosts the Out of the Darkness Walk to promote suicide awareness and prevention. All proceeds raised help fund research, education programs, and allows for the promotion of suicide prevention legislation. Our team goal is to raise $250. It is not necessary to donate in order to walk, but you will receive one service hour for every $25 you raise towards our team's goal. Also, it is not necessary to walk in order to donate.
