UA play: Richard III

Date: Mar 8, 2020 at 2:00pm to 5:00pm
UA’s “Richard III” reimagines the bloodthirsty tale of a despotic antihero. Guest Director Michael Gatto says: “In Richard III, we are flipping the age-old adage, and bringing to life one of Shakespeare’s great villains who audiences hate to love. We are taking the bard’s play, wrought with relevant themes of abusive power, murder, hubris, envy, grief, and betrayal, and setting it within a once great, long-forgotten circus.” Audiences will thrill to this contemporary rendering of Shakespeare’s dynamic display of ambition and cunning. $5 - Students richard3ua.eventbrite.com
