Theme: The Great Gatsby This is basically our senior banquet jazzed up. This is a chance for us to celebrate what we’ve accomplished this semester as well as celebrate our seniors and our amazing bros in general. You can dress in theme or dress up however fancy you’d like! You don’t have to go all out (but you can if you’d like to!) but please try to be dressed at least semi-formal/business. Since we are trying out an outside venue you guys will have to purchase tickets. I will start selling tickets at Initiation next week. Preferably only one guest per APO Bro. Food is included in the price of the ticket. For Brothers/Alum: $7 presale/$10 at the door For guests of Brothers: $10 presale/$15 at the door If your guest is an Alum/past bro they pay the Brother/Alum ticket price What’s going to be happening at Semi-Formal: Letters to Seniors Food Possibly karaoke/open mic Costume contest (with prizes!!!) The premiere of Nat Dang’s and Taylor’s Rush Video Letters to Seniors: Every semester we write letters to the seniors, it can be about a special memory, an inside joke, or whatever you want it to be. It’s a way to show your Bros the impact that they’ve had on your time here at the University of Akron. If you would like to write a letter to a senior or a Bro leaving, please do! It doesn’t have to be a letter either, it can be a poem, a picture, a painting, or whatever you’d like it to be. Please have them to me by 4/30 if you’d like me to print them out and have them at Semi-formal. Otherwise please bring them to Semi-formal so we can give them to them there!
