The Department of Sociology, Social Work, and Anthropology and the Center for Crime, Equity, and Justice are hosting the Hampton Roads Social Justice Conference next week, April 15-16. To make this conference a success, we need the help of student volunteers! Please consider giving a few hours of your time to this fantastic event! We need volunteers to help with checking in people when they arrive, making sure presenters get set up ok, and driving golf cart shuttles between the DSU and parking garage. Sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C054CAAAD2FA4FAC34-56081400-hampton#/ Golf cart drivers must be certified: Golf cart training will be held this Wednesday (4/9) at 2pm at the Ferguson Parking Garage- meet at the parking office. You must bring a valid driver's license to the training. If students have not received training in the last 2 academic years (23-24 or 24-25), they will need to be recertified at this time. Students who are not available at 2pm on 4/9 should contact diane.griffiths@cnu.edu to arrange for another training time- there will be limited options for this. Text me a pic for credit! :)
