Join the Office of Health promotion on Monday, April 10th 6-8pm for Overdose Prevention Training. Attendees will receive a free naloxone kit after training. This training course will teach you how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and how to administer the opioid overdose reversal drug Naloxone (e.g. Narcan). Naloxone can save the lives of individuals who use opioids in addition to other substances, such as cocaine which can be unknowingly laced with fentanyl (an opioid).
