This is a community service event dedicated to donating books to the Red Book Shelf from people around campus. The organization will be setting up a table at the CC for people to come to us throughout the week and donate their books. 2 books = 1 hour of community service (capped at 3). The books that are collected will be donated on Monday oct 11th. The purpose of this community service is to provide the Albany community with easy book availability and to promote education amongst the youth. Any kid or adult book is welcomed regardless of its physical state. These books will be refurbished. If you cannot find Engels in the CC, you can also drop off the books to Mich in the FSL office; or arrange pickup with her at another location. It is located in the back of the Hub, up the stairs near Starbucks. (She will make sure the books are given to Engels, who is donating them.)
