Help Create Women's Hygiene Kits for Spiritual Week 2020!!! It'll be in the CC Multipurpose Room near where SA is located! MORE DETAILS: Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority Inc and Service Is Key are joining forces to alleviate menstrual poverty in the Capital Region. Often times women are forced to choose between menstrual well being and things like food and shelter. This is a worldwide social justice issue. Many girls in developing countries can't go to school when they have their periods because they lack the personal hygiene items necessary to let them be mobile during this time. Here, in our own country, many of our most vulnerable community members lack access to these resources. We want to change that! We are holding a drive to get pads, tampons and other hygiene products that allow women to live with dignity. Drop off your donation in the CPSP office in Social Science 112 or in Claudio Gomez's office in the EOP Complex. Sign your name on the sign in sheet and note what you donated. This will be used to verify your hour on EngageUAlbany. Although CPSP policy doesn't not allow buying hours with donations, you can receive one hour of service per item valued at $4.00 and above for the travel time it took to acquire the item.
