Date: Mar 31, 2019 at 5:00pm to 6:05pm
All things must come to an end... so why not end it with a bang? Come to the closing of the Leadership Symposium and listen to the one and only Langie Cadesca, our current SA President!!! For more about her: Langie Cadesca is a senior at the University at Albany studying Criminal Justice and Africana Studies. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Langie was admitted to UAlbany in the Fall of 2015 as a part of the Educational Opportunities Program (EOP). She has had many diverse experiences at the University that have strengthened her leadership. During her freshman year, she was elected as an Indian Quad Senator, a work study employee in the office of Student Involvement and was a General member of the Haitian Student Association. Throughout the rest of her college experience she was involved in many other facets on campus. She has served as the President of the Epsilon Nu Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., the President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc., a Purple and Gold Ambassador, as well as a Residential Assistant on Indian Quad. Each of these experiences have taught Langie the effective skills and drive needed to lead the Student Association, first of which is her deep desire to fully understand the needs of the community. She is knowledgeable about UAlbany and ready to create change to impact the student voice! SO POP OUT FOR A GOOD CLOSING! LFS!
