While there are no identified threats currently at UAlbany, UPD is committed to providing you information to help keep yourself safe here at the University, and everywhere you travel. UPD wants to help you develop the knowledge and skills necessary to help yourself and others during an active shooter event. Attend our FREE training on “Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE)”. CRASE is a national program taught by police officers and developed to give you the information you need in an active shooter situation. During this training you will learn strategies to help protect yourself and others during an active shooter event by using the run/fight/hide method. For registration, contact Inspector Jennifer L. Baldwin at: 518-442-3130 or by email: jbaldwin1@albany.edu. Space is limited for these sessions and REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
