This talk will explore how public art and creative programming can serve as a powerful tool for resilience, resistance, empowerment and representation - especially for queer and BIPOC youth. Drawing from lived experience as a Black queer woman, Jade will share how identity informs her work and how they have built programs that don’t just center youth and adult voices but actively shift the narrative around who gets to be seen, heard, and supported.
