There is a parking lot just before Freestone Point. All volunteers should arrive at 2:00pm unless they are helping with the guided hikes or hayrides, in which case they should arrive 30 minutes to an hour before their event to receive assignments and instructions. We will need roughly 5 people to help with the games and crafts. Games will include cornhole, giant lawn games (Jenga, Connect 4, ring toss, etc.), and water balloon launching. Crafts will include tinsmithing (instructions will be provided prior to the event), pumpkin carving, and smaller fall paper crafts (finger painting, drawing, coloring, etc.). We recommend those with a theater background sign up for the guided hike - we will provide scripts and costumes for those who would like to be in character! We also just need some volunteers to stay at the end of the group to make sure no one veers off the path or gets lost during the hike. In terms of musical entertainment, we are mainly looking for acoustic-type performances (think an open-mic night at a coffee shop - just something to have in the background while the festival is going on).
