It's Global Youth Service Day! As the (very long) title describes, we'll be making cards for elderly people in nursing homes (more info at loveforourelders.org/letters). Since Global Youth Service Day is all about getting youth involved in service, not just about doing service for youth, please feel free to invite younger siblings and friends to join this event. Elementary-school children can decorate the cards and, with help as to what to say, can write messages, and middle-school and older can either decorate or write messages.
