There is a ten dollar entrance fee to the park so make sure to have some cash on you! This trail is qualified as easy by the National Park Services. Walk along river’s edge and through a rich foodplain forest. Access the trail from the towpath just upstream of Washington Aqueduct observation deck. 2 mile loop can be made by walking towpath back.
