KEEN Greater DC is a non-profit volunteer led organization that provides one-to- one recreational opportunities for children and young adults with developmental and physical disabilities. During the Sports Program, volunteers come together for one-to- one activities. They may throw a basketball or kick a soccer ball, or they may take a walk around the outdoor track. Many love to bounce on 36’’ balls or be pulled along the floor on a flat wheeled scooter. It is necessary for you to attend the orientation and training before the the event start time. The training starts at 10:00am. However if you attended the KEEN event in October you do not need to do the training and can arrive at 12:45 (please put this in the comments when you sign up).
