Reminder: This is an off-campus event, please be at Sandy Creek at least 15 minutes before the posted time! The Marine Corps Marathon is an annual marathon hosted by the US Marine Corps which promotes physical fitness and community goodwill. Volunteers will help steward the run alongside the APO DC Alumni Association (APODCAA) volunteers. The APODCAA has been stewarding mile 13 at Hains Point in East Potomac Park for at least 10 years, and even were awarded a $450 stipend for the work that they have done. Breakfast, hot chocolate, and long sleeve t-shirts provided. Parking is provided as well.
