SD River Park Foundation: Garden Club

Date: Apr 21, 2024 at 9:00am to 11:00am
Join the San Diego River Park Foundation's Garden Club twice a month to bring community members together to learn about native plants, gardening, and taking care of a native plant landscape. The Point Loma Native Plant Garden is a hidden gem that features many rare and endangered native plant species that are found along the San Diego River. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get a little dirty. Sun protection and a reusable water bottle are also handy! There aren't on-site bathrooms, so be sure to use the restroom before leaving. Volunteers must first sign up on the site and sign the necessary waiver to be able to sign up for events. Sign-ups can be located on this page, which also contains the necessary waiver: https://sandiegoriver.galaxydigital.com/need/?q=garden+club&age=&agency_id=&min_available_slots=&dateOn=&distance=&zip=&need_impact_area=&need_init_id=&qualification_id=&meta%5B%5D=&meta%5B%5D=&meta%5B%5D=&meta%5B%5D=&allowTeams=&ug_id=&s=1 Please plan on getting there at 8:45 to get all checked in and ready to go!
