Hello Everyone! We will be assisting this half marathon in needed areas, course cheering, water stations, medal distribution, etc... We will be receiving $25 per volunteer that attends and helps out during the race!! So we highly encourage as many people to sign up. *INFORMATION FOR DAY OF EVENT (PLEASE READ IN IT'S ENTIRETY): WHERE TO PARK: You can park in the parking lot NORTH of Tecolote Shores Park Please place the Volunteer Parking Pass on your dashboard for each car that will be parking. (THE VOLUNTEER PARKING PASS WILL BE SENT IN THE GROUP CHAT - IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A PRINTER, PLEASE LET AN SVP KNOW SO THAT WE CAN PRINT ONE OUT FOR YOU IF YOU ARE DRIVING) You can use this Google Map to show you exactly where to park: https://goo.gl/maps/ye8VUgLUpwJcXR2m7 You can also type in 1346 East Mission Bay Drive Parking in Google Maps WHERE TO CHECK IN: Check in will be at the start/finish/expo at Tecolote Shores. After you park, walk to the start/finish line (see map on the parking pass). Look for the orange tent by the finish line and you can find me there. WHAT TO WEAR: It is forecasted to rain so please be prepared with rain gear that will keep you dry and warm. Waterproof jackets with hoods, rain boots, etc. *IMPORTANT: We do need a minimum of 5 people in order to start receiving money for each volunteer* *ASK RAMIL AND HE MAY GIVE YOU A CELSIUS (must be before event date)* After volunteering, please take a picture and send it to the service vice presidents email (service@aposdsu.org) within 48 HOURS for credit.
