The Mt. Carmel Tournament of Bands is one of the largest and oldest High School Parade and Band Tournament in Southern California and is known all over Southern California as a premier showcase of top high school marching band field shows and parades, and is one of only three band tournaments in all of San Diego County to offer a Band Review Parade competition. We will be helping primarily with the Field Show Volunteer Team, primarily as the Ushers for the Home Side Field Show. The description of duties: The responsibility of the ushers is to seat spectators and performers and to close the aisles to prevent disruption of the performances. Ushers will also set up seating blocks on the visitor side and assist those who have difficulty negotiating the bleachers. This year the home side will be divided into open seating general admission, and reserved group sections, seating to be determined by the color of the wristbands given to our patrons. The only individually reserved seats will be in the Mt Carmel reserved section. *FOR PLEDGES ONLY* Pledges will need to leave at 9:30 PM due to the 10 PM curfew SUGGESTED MEET UP TIME: 5:00 PM SUGGESTED TIME TO LEAVE TO LOCATION: 5:20 PM Please comment 'chair' if you would like to chair!
