The Mt. Carmel Tournament of Bands is one of the largest and oldest High School Parade and Band Tournament in Southern California and is known all over Southern California as a premier showcase of top high school marching band field shows and parades, and is one of only three band tournaments in all of San Diego County to offer a Band Review Parade competition. We will be helping primarily with the Field Show Volunteer Team, primarily as the "Ramp Ushers". The description of duties: Getting bands into the start queue and warm-up area, clearing a path across the parking lot for bands in transit, confirming the location of bands, and linking escorts & band directors in preparation for moving to the field. We also control the visitors and home ramp, guide pit crews, receive the bands at the field gate, and coordinate groups entering or exiting the ramps at any time. Finally, we align bands for the awards ceremony and coordinate the passing out of trophies. *FOR PLEDGES ONLY* Pledges will need to leave at 9:30 PM due to the 10 PM curfew SUGGESTED MEET UP TIME: 5:30 PM SUGGESTED TIME TO LEAVE TO LOCATION: 5:50 PM Please comment 'chair' if you would like to chair!
