PATH clients come to the clothing closet with their case workers for much needed items. It is so important that this space is inviting and welcoming so they feel special and have easy access to clothing and other donations. Volunteers help by sorting, folding, distributing and hanging clothing items for their wonderful clients to shop. They organize goods on shelves/racks so clients can easily shop to meet their needs and process donations based on type: clothing, household goods, and quality. Directions: We are located on the corner of Sixth and A St Downtown. You will enter the building on the A St entrance and check in with security. Let them know you are there to volunteer for clothing closet. The Sixth Ave entrance is Family Health Centers and it does not connect to our side of the building. (just a heads up) For parking, there is no designated PATH parking. Although there are many garages and meters located around our building. The meters range from 1hr to 2hr parking and cost $1.25/hour. The average price per garage is $2.00/20 minutes. My recommendation, if you don't mind walking a couple of blocks, is to park in the residential parking by Seventh Ave and Beech St or Seventh Ave and Cedar St (about 5 blocks away from our site).
