Pacific Beach is holding its Half Marathon the first weekend of October. We have about 1,000 runners who will be joining us on Saturday, October 1st. The Friday volunteer shift will be split into two groups. One group will help with Packet Pick up and the other Venue set up. Descriptions below. Packet pick up: Help check in runners on iPads as well as handout bibs, race shirts, and race swag. This role is mostly sitting under tents. There is some moving around so wear clothes you can move in. Venue set up: Help set up with the venue. Move supplies and products to their designated area. This role is a great workout on the beach. Wear clothes you can move in. Meet Up: 11:00 AM Leave by: 11:20 AM This is an in-person event, so please allow yourself ample time to get there and park SVP's or Service Committee will make a group chat with the attendees the day before the event to give all the necessary information if there is no chair Please comment 'chair' if you would like to chair!
