Dance Marathon at San Diego State University is an annual overnight, 15-hour-long fundraising event benefiting the patients and families at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Dance Marathon is SDSU's largest philanthropic organization and has fundraised over $1.4 million for San Diego's sick and injured kids since 2015. https://events.dancemarathon.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.event&eventID=4715 Dance Marathon takes place on 2/25/22! When registering, make sure to register as a team member of Alpha Phi Omega, not as an Individual participant. You must raise $150 in your individual donor drive to physically participate in the event in February. Registration is $20. All proceeds go directly to Rady's Children's Hospital. If you are interested in being involved with Dance Marathon but either 1) are unable to raise $150 by February or 2) do not want to participate in the actual dance marathon, contact me external@aposdsu.org and I can get you set up as a volunteer at the event! Credit breakdown: 3 EC + .5 Philanthropy Credits for registering and starting a donor drive. Additional 2 EC + 1 Philanthropy Credits for hitting the individual donor drive goal by DFR.
