Meals on Wheels is an organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the San Diego Seniors. Meals on Wheels San Diego County subsidizes 60% of the costs for meals, delivery, and other services provided, regardless of a senior’s ability to pay. For every holiday and birthday, Meals on Wheels and our community of generous volunteers provide our seniors with a special gift bag to say, "We Care. This is a perfect way for a group to get involved and work on a project together while giving back to their community. Often coupled with personal notes from the individuals who created the packages, it is a sure way to brighten someone's day. the list of items is: -Combs -Cotton Balls/Swabs -Crosswords/Suduko -Dish Towels -Envelopes -Floss -Greeting Cards/ Stationary -Hand Towles -Jar Openers -Lotions -Magnify Glasses -Nail Fails & Cripper -Night Light -Non-alcoholic Mouthwash -Note pads -Pens -Photo Frames -Pills Boxes -Playing Cards -Postage Stamps -Post-it Notes -Potholders -Shampoo -Sharpened Pencils -Small Brushes -Small First Aid Kits -Small tissues -Soap -socks -toothbrushes -toothpaste To EARN CREDIT YOU BUY THE ITEMS AND THEN WE WILL GIVE YOU THE HOURS BASED ON PROOF OF THE RECIEPT. :) TO EARN CREDIT: get a bunch of items and if your receipt each 10 dollar milestone, that's the Hours You Get $10-$20 = 2 service hours $21-$30= 2.5 service hours $31-$40 = 3 service hours Give the items to the Service Vps or Committee and make sure to take a picture of the receipt with the amount that was paid!!
