CARE stands for [C]ompiling [A]ccomodating [R]esource [E]ssentials. We will be using materials collected through a drive, as well as the funds that we earned from our APO National Service Grant, to create these boxes! These CARE Boxes will be given to survivors of domestic violence in San Diego. Volunteers will be decorating the boxes, writing notes of affirmation, and packing the items. Our Service Vice Presidents will also be giving a presentation about the issue at large in order to raise awareness about this issue. Ryan & JonJon will be chairing the event.
