The annual International Dragon Boat Racing is back, and they are in need of many volunteers! -- "You will help guide the boats onto shore in accordance to boat numbers, hold the boat as paddlers get on and off the boat in a safe and efficient manner and assist them in doing so when necessary as well as cleaning off and drying out the boats when the boats are empty in between races. We may also need help setting up pop-up tents in the morning and breaking them down on Sunday afternoon. Water and lunch will be provided for volunteers." -- Volunteers will be in water, so please wear swim trunks and overall, clothes you do not mind getting wet! Please wear blue or white shirts to stand out as volunteers of Alpha Phi Omega. Pledges, please do not wear your Pledge Pin while you are volunteering because it can fall off in the water! There will be a volunteer tent to check in, get food, and put your stuff down. Please label what is yours as it gets confusing with many people's items piled everywhere. -- If you would like to chair this event, please comment down below and text Jonathan Fermin Ledda or Ryan Hardmeyer!
