Meals on Wheels San Diego County's mission is to support the independence and well being of seniors. We provide nutritious meals, wellness checks, and daily human connection for our seniors. During the Holidays and for every Birthday, Meals on Wheels and the community of generous volunteers provide our seniors with a special gift bag to say, “We Care.” List of suggested items include: Large Print of Crossword, Word Find, Sudoku No-Slip Socks Post-it notes Nail files & clippers Dish towels Magnifying glasses Pill Boxes Jar openers Toothbrushes Small First Aid Kit Night lights Toothpaste Cotton balls Photo frames Floss Combs Tissues Q-Tips Mailing Stamps PLEASE AVOID: Candles, Razors, Nail Polish, Cosmetics, Cough Drops, Matches and Lighters, Food Items, Flammable Liquids, Aspirin, Tylenol or Medications of any kind. 2 items = 1 Service Hour/ 4 items = 2 Service Hours ** Limit 2 Hours ** Turn in items at GBM
