Our beaches are the bridge between our world and the ocean. We must be attentive in how we treat these stretches of land. Beaches are home to various creatures from sea lions to sea turtles. Many animals depend on land to survive. Land that is untainted by chemical wastes or human wastes. Marine life, dwelling only in the water, are also affected by waste on beaches. Volunteers will come to groups and pick up any trash while walking down the beach. Gloves and trashbags will be provided. Parking is anywhere along the streets so drivers be mindful of time. Wear shoes/sandals you don't mind being on the sand and clothes that will keep you comfortable and warm!
