Volunteering in JA Finance Park is fun and easy and requires minimal preparation. The 5.5 hour experience includes a half hour lunch break and a one hour training prior to student arrival. Volunteers assist students participating in the simulation and are instrumental in guiding them to make wise decisions and helping students make responsible choices with their budget. JA Finance Park simulation volunteers do not need to have any specific expertise, though basic financial literacy is helpful, and are welcome to use their own relevant experiences as examples.
