Third Avenue Charitable Organization (TACO) has provided 20,793 meals, serving more than 14,900 people who are mostly homeless, the working poor, and low-income senior citizens in Downtown San Diego. They serve two hot meals a week and usually have between 20-30 volunteers every Monday and Friday. Right before the meal the pastor from First Lutheran Church says a short prayer. Volunteers serve the meal, work outside to monitor the tray returns, and hand out hygiene and clothing. Volunteers are usually there about two hours. If you have NOT volunteered for TACO before, please print out the waiver using the link below and bring it to the event. https://docs.google.com/document/d/14ACyYilhE9YajO4v2pDhw-wGvV6qi5QzXrHal1jLAn8/edit?usp=sharing **COMMENT to chair!! seerrrrviccee : )
