who are mostly homeless, the working poor, and low-income senior citizens in Downtown San Diego. They serve two hot meals a week and usually have between 20-30 volunteers every Monday and Friday. Right before the meal the pastor from First Lutheran Church says a short prayer. Volunteers serve the meal, work outside to monitor the tray returns, and hand out hygiene and clothing. Volunteers are usually there about two hours.
