We've served with this great org. in the past and it's a great experience so come thruuuu : ) Father Joe's prepares up to 3,000 meals and provides a continuum of care to nearly 1,800 individuals every day—from infants and adolescents to adults and seniors. This includes over 780 children and over 200 military veterans. As industry thought leaders, they offer effective tailored-to-client solutions to address the complex needs of the homeless, regardless of age, race, culture or beliefs. Their primary goal is to transform lives and end the cycle of homelessness. For this shift you will help with: -set-up -serving dinner -break-down **REQUIRED FORMS (attached) -EVERYONE must print the following forms and bring them COMPLETED upon arrival -Food Handler Teach and Test -Volunteer Memorandum of Agreement **PARKING: -attached is a volunteer parking pass -underground parking on 16th Street between Imperial and Commercial -At the driveway leading under the Village, push the intercom button to let security know that you are here to volunteer. They will open the gate for you. -Please do NOT park in the “Reserved Parking” area to the left when coming down the ramp. -Take the stairs to the lobby and check in at the front desk with your paperwork, if the front desk is not open please check in with security. -ALTERNATE parking is available on the corner of 17th Street and Imperial Avenue. **DRESS CODE Please adhere to our dress code of long pants, shirts/blouses with sleeves (short or long), and closed toe shoes- no sandals or heels. ==> COMMENT TO CHAIR, thanks : )
