There are about 200 Million kids in the world with rare disease of which 30% die before their 5th birthday. Our RARE Bear Program plays an instrumental role in patient family support and providing solutions that can change these statistics. The notes we get back once a bear is received show that the kids and families can feel the love and hope you put into each stitch. In addition, the RARE Bears help us with patient outreach, education and awareness to improve early diagnosis and support of our research programs to help accelerate finding cures for kids with rare disease. With that said, we will be sewing and stuffing these one-of-a-kind bears in SLL with a team sent by the RARE Bear Coordinator. Please comment to chair!
